Ageas Insurance Review - Car, Home, Life

Friday 6 September 2013

Ageas Insurance is primarily a life insurance company; however they also offer other services to benefit their customers. One of the first things that I always look out for when reviewing a company is their key financials. I was generally pleased with the amount of net profit they have earned at the end of the previous year, as well as the premiums they have written off to show that they are a reliable company.

There are several lines of personal lines of insurance offered by Ageas. Links to these were located from their homepage and gave a full description about what are covered and the options that can be taken out.

Household Insurance: Find The One That Suits You

There are several different levels of cover for you to choose from. Some of the things that I found to be very valuable that were listed in their features are credit card coverage, increase of claim limit if damages were done during weddings, birthdays or religious festivals, as well as shopping in transit. There are also some optional covers that you can take out such as personal legal protection and accidental damage extension.

Looking at the quote and excess, the price was pretty decent. However considering the range of covers included in your policy (go look yourself), I can honestly say that you are getting more than you bargain for. Both your building and contents will be insured.

Motor Insurance: Stay Safe On and Off Road

For those that have a car or another type of vehicle, even a van, you will be able to enjoy protection to guard you from injuries, damaged items as well as damages caused by you to other parties. I saw that there were several levels of covers that you can take out, which includes fire and theft as well in their features.

Travel Insurance: Stay Safe Abroad

Policies that can be chosen include single trip, annual multi trip, business travels and long-stay trips. Each of these policies contains their own advantage and limit of claims. Some of the things you will be able to expect to be protected against, and which I found to be very essential, are cancellations, legal expenses, loss of password and missed departure.

Even at times when you are being very careful, you can’t be sure that everything will work out the way you first planned it to be. Getting your travel insurance needs from Ageas is no doubt one of the best choices available.
