At first, I was awestruck by the long list of different insurance they offered. They have everything from domestic insurance, to things like business and travel insurance as well. Seeing this, I got the notion that Aviva would be a great fit to all the people that have high concerns for their safety and assets.
Now let us have a look at some of their products individually.
Motor Insurance
The most central product is obviously their car insurance. Two different levels of policies can be bought which are: Comprehensive and Third Party, Fire and Theft. I think these covers are pretty much standard if compared to other insurers, except they also have this thing where you are guaranteed to get no claim discount and have access to a 24/7 claims helpline.
Other insurance products include breakdown cover, van insurance and motorcycle insurance.
One thing that I thought was very special is that they have a package for people that want to insure more than one car or van, and then be able to save on some discounts. This I think is a great incentive to reward customers for purchasing policy.
Home and Landlord Insurance
Aviva’s home and landlord insurance are available to anyone that wants to protect their building from damages and liabilities, and also wants to save money. Best of all, there is a 40% no claim discounts if you have not made any claims for the past five years. Save further if you decide to purchase your policy online.
I had a quick glimpse through all the things you will be insured against for both your building and contents, and saw that it included things like fire, theft, temporary accommodation as well as outbuildings like pools and gates. In my perspective, these are all the essential things that every homeowner and landlord should have.
According to the customer reviews posted on Aviva’s website, their rating is very close to 5/5 which proves how great of an insurer they are.
Other Insurance Types
Beside the two listed insurance above, Aviva also offers the following insurance types which I found to be very worthwhile even after just a quick scan:
- Life Insurance – Get paid when you pass away so that your funeral would be less costly.
- Health Insurance – Get access to several medical benefits.
- Travel Insurance – Make sure your holiday is one that you can remember, no matter if you are going internationally or domestically.
- Pet Insurance – Similar to health insurance, but for your cats and dogs.
- Business Insurance – Great for anyone that wants to make sure money will keep flowing in from their business.
